The scanners create a scan map of the data, so you can easily determine what sections of the riser need reinforcement. ScanTech offers specialized scanners for the shipping and transportation industry. The XR Spider and XS “Switchgear” scanners are both ideal for scanning ships and trains for corrosion. These scanners have a high maneuverability allowing them to traverse obstacles that many other scanners cannot. They are raster-style scanners that quickly and precisely complete a scan map.

ScanTech offers two scanners that are designed specifically for scanning paper machine dryer rolls and mud drums: the Analyst X™ D2S and Analyst™ NDX. The Analyst X™ D2S scanner is highly maneuverable and has specially designed software to calculate the thickness of the cast iron dryer rolls. The Analyst™ NDX is a magnetized scanner that attaches to the inside of a mud drum and scans the inside of the tubes for corrosion.

ScanTech offers a variety of scanners to be used for scanning pipelines. The XR Spider and XS "Switchgear" scanners are raster-style scanners that rapidly scan pipes for corrosion. They are durable scanners allowing them to perform longer without maintenance. These systems are highly maneuverable and achieve high scanning speeds without sacrificing precision. ScanTech also offers the H3 and PATH hand-scanners for smaller or angled pipes.
